Spring Break 24′

This Spring Break I visited my family in Florida. More specifically, my parents and I visited my Uncle and his family in Kissimmee, Florida.

We have done this for 5 years now, and it has become a yearly tradition. However, I was honestly not anticipating to go on this trip until 2 or 3 weeks ago. See, my family went to Panama this January, and I had thought we agreed that because of that, it was not financially feasible to go on the Florida trip as well. I guess not.

My Spring Break, though, had a couple of days of chilling at home involved before the trip, which is always welcome to an introvert like myself. I spent these days in my natural habitat, playing video games, and building a tiny lego model of Michigan Stadium (Which is not finished as of March 20, 2024; I got close, though). On Tuesday, we took off to Orlando-Sanford, and arrived a half-hour early. My family decided to stop at the best disc golf store in Florida, if not the US. They like to stop at the store anytime they are in that area (North of Orlando). We found out it was closed on Tuesdays, which is the only day they are closed. I was somewhat okay with this, as to me, disc shop shopping is incredibly boring. On the other hand, we disc golfed 48 holes last week. I didn’t entirely enjoy this, because we roll up in a group of 6, take a long time on each hole and clog up the course, which gives me social anxiety.

I enjoyed going to a Spring Training game more. Going to a baseball game is always going to be fun, if your team wins, which they did 7-0.

We went to a couple beaches, one on the Atlantic side and one on the Gulf side. It is kind of hard to explain what you do at the beach, because it is a bunch of sitting around, but in a good way, so I won’t elaborate.

I also took some epic pictures with my cousin, so here they are.
